    1. Eden Killer Whale Museum The Eden Killer Whale Museum has been in operation for over 80 years and is a publicly owned facility.
    2. Sapphire Coast Marine Discovery Centre Come and discover the amazing marine environment along our Wilderness Coast. There are interactive displays, aquaria and touch tanks, a kids corner, videos, microscopes, marine laboratory activities and much more. If you want to explore more, join one of our coastal discovery programs, snorkel pristine bays or experience a full-day tour of this beautiful region.

    1. Light to Light Walk Ben Boyd National Park In the southern part of Ben Boyd National Park, the Light to Light Walk, between Boyds Tower and Green Cape, offers the opportunity to walk 31 kilometres of spectacular coastline with sightings of wildlife and whales during September to the end of November.

    1. Aslings Beach Aslings Beach is central to the town of Eden, and flanks the northern part of Twofold Bay. Whales (October-November) and dolphins are often seen right along the shoreline, either feeding or sheltering in the Bay. A great family beach located opposite and very close to Eden's range of Caravan Parks and surrounded by Boyd National Park where bushwalking and exploring the coastline can be enjoyed.

    1. Eden Whale Festival Eden Whale Festival is an annual celebration of the southern migration of humpback and other whales past Eden on the Sapphire Coast of NSW. Commemorating Eden's whaling and maritime history especially the Killers in Eden story featuring Old Tom the famous leader of the pod who worked alongside humans in the hunt for whales in Twofold Bay. The event is free to community members and features street parade, carnival, events, displays, demonstrations, music, spectacular evening show, stalls, competitions, great food and wine and lots of information about whales.

    1. Bega Valley Rally The Bega Valley Rally is a round of both the NSW and Victorian State Rally Championships. It features the best of the exciting modern four-wheel drive rally cars as well as some of the classic rally cars from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.

    1. Merimbula Marina Merimbula Marina offer a large range of fishing charters, bay/dolphin cruises, whale watching through to special occasions and functions catered for on the beautiful Sapphire Coast. The Marina's fleet comprises currently of two vessels along with eight small runabouts.

  • The Eden Killer Whale Museum: The Eden Killer Whale Museum has been in operation for some seventy five years. Exhibitions about the shore based whaling operations from Twofold Bay during the 1800's and early 1900's include a full skeleton of 'Tom' the Killer Whale legendary Orca. Tom led a pack of killer whales in the hunt for baleen whales on their Southward migration each year along the Far South coast of NSW and herded them into Twofold Bay assisting the whalers.
  • Cat Balou Cruises: Cat Balou Cruises operate from the Port of Eden , NSW, southern gateway to NSW & the Sapphire Coast. Cat Balou offers two cruises- their popular 2 hour Twofold Bay Discovery Cruise which operate all year and whale watching cruises from late September until late November.
  • Davidson's Whaling Station: Located on the shores of the Kiah Inlet at Twofold Bay, the Davidson Whaling Station was the longest-operating shore-based whaling station in Australia and the last of its type to close down. Protected today as an historic site, the station will give you a unique insight into the lives and industry of the 19th century whalers.
  • Eden Markets: Operate 1st Saturday of Every Month at the Eden Memorial Park, Calle Street . 08:00 - 12:30
  • Freedom Fishing Charters: Offering Reef, Game and Sports Fishing along with Whale Watching and Pleasure Cruises
  • Greencape Lighthouse: Greencape Lighthouse was the first cast concrete lighthouse tower in Australia. It is situated in the picturesque Ben Boyd National Park and was built in 1883 and at 29 meters is the second tallest lighthouse in NSW.
  • Ocean Wilderness Sea Kayaking: Trips depart daily from Eden, Merimbula, Pambula Beach and Lake Wonboyn. See Twofold Bay, Bed Boyd National Park and Nadgee Nature Reserve. Great wildlife seen on most trips.
  • Ben Boyd National Park: Named after Benjamin Boyd, a prominent 19th-century Far South Coast entrepreneur. Its rugged coastline is a colourful display of folded red rocks, standing out against the sapphire blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. Visit the Pinnacles and see the amazing colours in the clay formations of the cliffs.
  • Boyd's Tower: Boyd's Tower, originally designed as a lighthouse by Benjamin Boyd, was built in 1847. Located in the National Park, the tower was never used as a lighthouse, however became a lookout for shore based whalers in the region.
